I knew Peggy from College of St. E's days. She was always the life of the party and it seems she continued that legacy throughout her life. Blessings to all of you as you learn to live without her smiles, kindness and humor.
Condolences,
Nancy Norton

I’m deeply saddened to learn of The passing of a great, great lady and dear friend Peg. Her life was one full of love, humor, dignity and respect. Did I mention humor!
At the center of her life was Chuck, her family and the athletes of Special Olympics for all of whom, she wore her passion on her sleeve. RIP Peg. Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us. Neal J. Johnson, President Emeritus, Special Olympics New Yok

To Chuck and all of Peg’s children,
I am so sorry for your loss, Peg had such a strong presence, she will be missed by so many. She loved each and every one of you so very much, she always spoke so proudly of all of you. There are a lot of you but I may finally have it straight after so many conversations, Michael of Charlotte, Maureen of Vermont, the Doctor Mark, the locals Matthew and Patrick, Molly and of course Megan and not to be forgotten Charlie. Peg was so respected for all of her knowledge. I called on her so many times to bounce things off of her and she would think of 50 things I hadn’t thought of. I will miss our many conversations (never on Mark Harmon night). I will surely miss those calls on my answering machine saying “hello Patti, Mark and Kayla, this is Peg O’Hara, give me a jingle when you get a chance”. I will surely miss my friend like crazy!

It was a pleasure coaching Special Olympics with Peg. We shared many bus rides laughing and talking about a great variety of topics. I always admired the way she treated her athletes, with true kindness and respect. We will all miss her very much.
Sincerely,
Judy Gotch

To the O’Hara family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Peg through our childrens’ schooling, Mike with my daughter Eileen and Megan early on with Bill. It was such a treat to see her smiling Irish face and know that she would have some dry, funny comment that would leave you laughing. She faced life, with all it’s surprises, head on, together with her Chuck, producing a wonderful family. God bless her. She will be sorely missed.
