Obituary of Lawrence E. Mazinski

Larry E. Mazinski, 83, of Lakeland passed peacefully July 30, 2026. He was born on August 3, 1943 in Syracuse, NY. He was an iron worker (fabricator), highway worker for the Town of Geddes, auto mechanic at his business Larry and Son Auto, Lakeside Fire Department Chief and Town of Geddes Fire Marshal. He most enjoyed being a master woodworker but he also loved to fish for salmon on Lake Ontario and hunt at the family hunting camp in Norwich. He will be loved and missed by all.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Antoinette (Szewczyk) Mazinski.

He is survived by his wife Sharon (March); sister, Lorraine (Tom) Overend; son Larry (Michelle) Mazinski; daughter, Lynette (Sean) Clere; daughter, Jill (Jeff) Hurd; grandchildren, Matthew Mazinski, Heather (Adam) Lustrinelli, Cassie (Adam) Quku, Abbey Keohane, Sarah Clere (Dan Van Auken), Erin and Natalie Clere, Brett and Lauren Hurd. Also, several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private to honor him and there will be no calling hours.
