Obituary of Rosemary F. Cupelo Monticello

Rosemary (Cupelo) Monticello, 105, of Westvale passed away  on Saturday, July 25, 2026 in Ebensburg, PA. Rosemary was extremely proud of her Italian heritage. She loved hosting dinners at her home for family and friends, treating everyone to her homemade Italian cuisine.
She was a member of St. Charles Church. She was also involved in many organizations, Daughters of Columbus, Italian American Heritage Club, St. Charles Altar and Rosary Society, St. Charles Funeral Guild, and Food Pantry.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Angelo Cupelo, in 1973 and second husband, Fiori Monticello in 1997.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Judith Illig, Daniel (Paula) Cupelo, and Ron (Roseanne) Cupelo.
Rosemary is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Jason, Angela, and Steven. Greg (Mary), Rachel, Alex, and Natalie. Her greatest pride was her great grandchild Benny.
A Calling Hour will be 10 to 11am Monday, August 3 at St. Charles Church followed by a  Memorial Mass held at 11am. Burial will be private at a later date.
