Obituary of Stephen J. Poticher

Stephen J. Poticher (Bear) 71 of Parish, NY passed away at home unexpectedly on January 14, 2026. Stephen was born in Canton, NY on December 23, 1954 to Oscar Poticher and Jean (Hundley) Poticher. Stephen worked for Eaton for 50 years retiring in 2024 as a supervisor. He was very dedicated, well respected and a hard worker in his work place. Stephen loved hunting, fishing, riding ATVs, definitely an outdoorsman.

Stephen was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Jean Poticher.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 25 years Jeanette (Schmunk) Poticher of Parish, NY, children Stephen Poticher Jr. of Williamstown, NY, Andrew Poticher of Baldwinsville, NY, grandchildren Eric Poticher of Port Byron, New York, Billy Poticher of Cato, NY, Austin Poticher of Warners, NY, siblings Laurie (Poticher) Barr of New Hartford, NY, Judy Poticher of Gouverneur, NY.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2PM to 5PM on January 31, 2026 at the Tigris Shriners 1121 Milton Ave. Syracuse, NY 13204.
