Obituary of Margery Dussing

Margery A. (Kinder) Dussing passed away on January 13, 2026, at Menorah Park. Margery was born on October 15, 1937, to William and Mary Agnes (Logan) Kinder and lived in Syracuse for the majority of her life. Margery was a medical administrative assistant before becoming a fulltime mother to her six children. Margery was also a religious education director, confirmation coordinator, and a real estate agent.

Margery was married to her best friend, Jon J. Dussing Sr, for over 60 years before his untimely passing in 2020.

Margery is survived by her six children: William (Christine) Dussing, Jon (Aniko) Dussing, Jr., Kathleen Corcoran, Thomas (Deanna) Dussing, Robert (Serafina) Dussing, and James Dussing, Sr.  Margery is also survived by 30 grand/great-grandchildren, not including the 2 that are on the way. Margery was a devout Roman Catholic and we ask you to keep her in your prayers!

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Tindall Funeral Home 1921 W Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at The Church of St. Michael and St. Peter, 4791 West Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215. The Rite of Committal and Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
