
Obituary of Larry Joseph Williams
Larry Joseph Williams, 78, of Liverpool, NY passed away on December 6, 2025. Larry was born in Cincinnati,
Ohio and spent his summers at the family summer home at Riland Golf Club in Kentucky where he had his first
business experience at the age of eight re-selling golf balls he rescued from lakes. He graduated from Kentucky
Military Institute in 1965 where he made life-long friends, and he attended Xavier University following that. He
owned a rock shop in Florida and two gift shops in Nashville, Indiana. When he moved to New York he worked
for Burdick Lincoln-Mercury. He was a member of the Order of Masons and spent years working with Big
Brothers/Big Sisters in Cincinnati.
He is predeceased by his Father, Lewis “Bud” Williams, his Mother, Mary
Hamilton, his only daughter, Melanie (Jean) Richard and his birth mother, Helen Greenroos.
Larry is survived by his loving spouse of 23 years, Donna (Buchleither) Williams of Liverpool, NY., his children:
Robert (Theresa) and daughter Sara, Christopher (Joy), Joseph (Andi) and their daughters Ashley, Tiffany,
Christina, Sarah and Kimberly, and Melanie’s children Joseph, Justin, Jean Claude “JC”, Jonah and Kristin. Larry
is also survived by nine great grandchildren. He has two stepsons, Michael (Ethan) and Brian (Melissa) Walls
(Aran and Shannon)
Memorial services will be private in Liverpool and a celebration of Larry’s life will take place in Florida.
