Obituary of Kathleen Marie Monsour

Kathleen "Kathy" Marie (Delpha) Monsour, 66, passed away on Thursday at her home in Camillus, NY. Kathy was a lifetime resident of the Syracuse area and a graduate of Bishop Ludden High School. After school, Kathy worked many years at US Air and cherished the close relationships she had with many of her former coworkers. Later she was lucky to find her calling in a second career and great friends as a Dispatcher for Onondaga County 911. She also continued her passion for service as an Emergency Medical Technician in the Taunton Fire Department, where she was a proud member and was honored to be a life member and Past President.  

Kathy was predeceased by her father, Robert Delpha, mother, Kathleen "Kay" (Dwyer) Gillette, step-father, Earl Gillette, and brother, Daniel Delpha.  

Kathy is survived by her son, Jaymes Hurley (Catherine) of Geddes, long-term loving companion, Richard "Rick" Roney, brother Michael Delpha, Sr, of Jordan, nieces Mikaela Johnson and Hannah Delpha, nephew, Michael Delpha, Jr., two great-nieces, as well as Rick's sisters and daughters. Lastly, but certainly not least, Kathy was also a proud Grandma, or "Mimi", to her grandson, Kylar and Rick's grandsons, Tanner and Ryan.  

Calling Hours: Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Kathy's life on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13204.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 11:30 am at St. Charles Church, 501 S. Orchard Rd., Syracuse, NY 13219. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2932 Warners Rd. Warners, NY 13164.
