Obituary of Joseph Michael Hubert

Joseph Michael Hubert, "Joe Mike", 59, of Solvay, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025. He was born at Community General Hospital in Syracuse, NY, on December 29, 1965. Joe was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and most recently, in a Group Home in Solvay. He graduated from Westhill High School, Syracuse, NY in 1986. Joe was closely connected with ARC of Onondaga in many areas and for many years. He took great pride in his various jobs, working along side many job coaches at different locations in Onondaga County. 

Joe loved Winter, enjoyed car rides, eating at local restaurants, and vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland. His passion was listening to records. He liked all kinds of music, especially The Beach Boys. Joe was a devoted Catholic and communicant of St. Charles and Holy Family churches in Syracuse, NY. Joe had an honest sincerity and gentleness about him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anna M. (Erwin) and Joseph A Hubert; his sister, Catherine A Hubert.

He is survived by his brother, David (Frederica) Hubert, a nephew, Daniel James Hubert and many relatives and friends. 

A Calling Hour will be 12pm to 12:30pm Friday, October 24 at Holy Family Church and A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
