Tribute to Dom Romagnoli- I write to express my sincere condolences for your loss. Dom was a student in my math class at OCC during the fall of 2018 and again in the spring of 2019. He was likely the hardest worker that I have ever taught in my 27-year teaching career. Despite all of his challenges, in both life and in learning, he persisted and always kept a positive attitude. On several occasions, he told me about his sister and her accomplishments as a doctor. I believe that she inspired Dom’s academic pursuits. He spent many, many hours in my office and with our tutors, getting help on his math. After two attempts, he passed my course. He was so proud of his accomplishment, as was I. Dom will always hold a special place in my heart. Even after he was my student, he came back to visit from time to time. He was always respectful, and he was so appreciative of his OCC experiences. About a year ago, I ran into Dom at the Bryne Dairy by OCC. He was smiling and happy, as he usually was. I am so grateful to have known Dom. He was a special guy. ~Dr. Jessica Harnly

To the Romagnoli family-I'm sorry for the loss of Dom. I was devastated to hear that he had passed away. We chatted a few weeks ago him telling me how he liked his new apartment. He will be truly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss Danny. I missed seeing Dom at Price Chopper. I could always count on a big smile and a chat, he also would chat with the dogs. If there’s anything you need you have my number, don’t hesitate to call.
