Obituary of Patricia Marie Farrell

It is with heavy hearts that the Farrell Family announce that Patricia Marie Farrell, age 62 of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. Patricia is survived by her beloved companion, Jeff Crandell, her brother, Sean Farrell, and her sisters, Barbara and Pauline Farrell, and her adorable cats, Nila and Tigger.
Patricia graduated from The Franciscan Academy (Convent School) on Court Street in Syracuse, where her volunteer work with children with disabilities was recognized and awarded. She then went on to study radio broadcasting and elementary education at Onondaga Community College and SUNY Buffalo. Her passion for music and children carried with her throughout her life. 
For the past several years, Patricia has thoroughly enjoyed working at Wegman’s on Onondaga Boulevard in Syracuse. She started out in the sandwich shop, then worked as a cashier, where she was loved socializing with the customers.
Although one would never guess from seeing Patricia’s tiny frame, she also had a passion for cooking. She was obsessed with The Food Network, and her kitchen counter was lined with cook books. She loved preparing celebratory dinners—just give her an occasion. 
Services: 10am Tuesday, August 19 at St. Patrick's Church, 216 Lowell Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204 where a Mass of Christian Burial Will Be Celebrated.
