Obituary of Barbara A. Noeller

Barbara Ann (Boyden) Noeller, 89, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving daughters. She was born in Leominster, MA September 9, 1935 and moved to Syracuse as a child. She was a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy. She was happily married to Edward for 64 years.

Barbara was a loving mother to her six children. She volunteered as a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader, helping her son Daniel to obtain his Eagle Scout Badge. She was a talented artist, gifting portraits to her family and parents of children she babysat. She was a seamstress who created beautiful quilts that she generously gave away. She loved the outdoors, gardening and also hiking some of the high peaks in the Adirondacks with her son Daniel. She was an avid swimmer who used her talent to teach many of her grandchildren and daycare children how to swim. She received her black belt in karate in her mid-fifties. She also tried roller blading in her mid-fifties, but stopped after breaking her arm. She volunteered, making bread and baptismal garments, for St. Charles Church. She was an entrepreneur, operating a daycare out of her home for 40 years, helping families and creating a lovely environment for many children. She used her skills as a seamstress, altering clothing as a side business. She was also a cancer survivor.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, her son Daniel and her brother George Boyden.

She is survived by her three sons: Robert (Diane) of Jamesville, Wesley (Diane) of Cedar Park, TX, Kenneth (Heidi) of Skaneateles, her two daughters: Vicki Sheehan (Mark) of Syracuse and Karen Delucia (Michael) of Liverpool, her sister: Roberta Boyden of Baldwinsville and thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
