
Obituary of Roberta J. Lasinski
Roberta J. (Jasinski) Lasinski passed away on June 7 at her home after a long courageous battle with many illnesses. Bobbi was born on March 10, 1945, to the late Robert F. and Stephanie (Karpinski) Jasinski and lived in the Solvay/Camillus areas all her life, graduating from Solvay High School.
In addition to her parents, Bobbi was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Jasinski Sgarlata.
Bobbi is survived by her cherished and loving husband, John, son R. Jason (Nicole) Walters, beloved granddaughters, Jordan and Julia Walters, sisters Stephanie (Henry) Glowacki and Christine Jasinski Hague, stepson Micheal (Lisa) Lasinski and loving nieces and nephews. Bobbi loved her husband, son, granddaughters, and family more than life itself.
Bobbi held several key positions at Fay's Incorporated including Director of Insurance Claims, Director of Investment Relations, and Administrative Assistant to the Assistant General Counsel. She was also extremely proud of her extensive volunteer work including the Polish Scholarship Fund from 1987 to 2002, American Diabetes Association, Polka DJ with Art Kott, and then the Polka Stoney Hour. Bobbi was a lifetime communicant of Holy Cross Catholic Church and held many positions including Parish Chairperson, Events Coordinator, church choir, and building fund committee member.
A memorial service will be 6pm Friday, June 20 at Holy Cross PNC Church, 3690 Armstrong Rd., Syracuse, NY. Bobbi has donated her body to the Upstate Anatomical Gift Program for Diabetes/Kidney Research. Bobbi's faith, strength, and positive attitude were admired by her many friends and associates.
