Obituary of Robert E. Bigsby

Robert E. Bigsby, 81, a lifetime resident of Tipperary Hill passed away after a long illness. He was a resident of Van Duyn where he was treated with kindness and respect. He was a longtime employee of Greyhound where he received the Silver Wrench Award. He was a member of the Syracuse Moose Lodge and a communicant of St. Brigid's Church. We will miss his quick wit and dry sense of humor. Bob was predeceased by his loving friend, Donna Simiele; his parents, Arthur and Henrietta Bigsby; sister, Arlene (George) Begay; brother, Arthur (Jean) Bigsby. Survivors: nephews, Arthur (Mary) Bigsby, Stephen (Lauren) Begay, Thomas Begay; nieces, Nancy and Kathleen Bigsby, Susan Begay, Trish (Michael) Colleary. Services: 10 am Saturday at St. Brigid and St. Joseph Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. A calling hour will be 8:30 to 9:30 am Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St. Syracuse, NY.
