Timothy Jay Wallace, 41, of Syracuse, passed away on July 3, 2016, at his home. Tim was raised in Baldwinsville, NY. He was a graduate of C.W. Baker high school, where he was a talented diver on the swim team. He served on the USS Abraham Lincoln in the United States Navy from 1996 to 2000. He was a graduate of Onondaga Community College and Crouse School of Nursing. He was employed as a Registered Nurse at James Square Health and Rehabilitation Centre. Tim was well known for his sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed music, sports, and playing with his son. He was a kind, creative and a generous spirited person who will be remembered and greatly missed by his friends and family. Tim was predeceased by his brother, Mark E. Wallace. Survivors: his parents, John and Mary Margaret (Peg) Wallace, of Syracuse; his son, Gabriel Raphael Thayer Wallace, of Baldwinsville; step-daughter, Noah Thayer-Gayanilo, of Albany; brothers, John and James; a niece, Adriana Wallace, a nephew, Tyler Wallace; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services: 10 am Saturday at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial with military honors will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
