John Jaworski Jr., 74, of Onondaga Hill passed away Friday after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Syracuse, he was a graduate of Blodgett Vocational High School. John was a US Navy Veteran enlisting right out of high school. He was a member of the IBEW Local 43 and NICA. He was the founder and owner of Myriad Construction. John was a pilot and formerly in the Civil Air Patrol. He coached little league for many year on Onondaga Hill. Survivors: his wife, Joan (Ripske) Jaworski; sons, Todd (Dawn) Jaworski, John Jeffrey Jaworski; Scott (Janet) Jaworski; daughters, Gretchin (Jack) Jaworski, Kristina (Joe) Goebel; grandchildren, Pauly (Cristina), Jami, TJ, Cody, Brittany, Jacob, Ellen, Amelia, Mikey, AJ, Danny, Becky, Allee, Aimie (John), Luke, Will, Molly; great granddaughters, Evelyn Joan and Charlotte Grace; brothers, Dr. Michael (Cathy) Jaworski, Dr. Robert (Maurine) Jaworski; sister, Janice (Fred) Burton; cousin, Fran (Reggie) Smith; several nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30 am Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home, 10:00 Thursday at Church Of St. Michael And St. Peter where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes. Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
