Pasqualina P. (Socci) Ball, 96, of Solvay passed away peacefully at Loretto Nursing Home Tuesday, March 8. She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Carlo and Rachel Pizzuto Socci. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church, and past member of the Altar and Rosary Society as well as a member of the Solvay Geddes Veteran`s Auxiliary and the Geddes Senior Citizens. Peg retired after many years of service at Community General Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors: her loving husband of 69 years, Leslie of Solvay; two sons, Les (Carol) of Solvay, John of Florida, grandchildren, Christopher Ball of Solvay, Michelle (Zach) Feinberg of Cohoes, Jenn (Sean) Reilly of Saratoga, great grandchildren, Guilianna and soon to be baby Reilly (Skippy) along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her loving grandson Marc L. Ball, and four sisters, Anna, Christine, Mary, Angeline; and two brothers, John and Anthony. Peggy's family would like to thank the 5th Floor Staff at Loretto as well as Chaplain Kathy Falso, Sister Margaret & Fr. Paul Machira for their loving care and kindness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be officiated by Fr. Paul Machira. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. A calling hour will be 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday prior to the service at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or St. Cecilia's Church, Human Development, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay, NY 13209.
