Anna L. Hefti returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on February 17, 2015. Anna was born December 14, 1928. She was one of eight children of Francis and Harriet Ledger. She was a graduate of Blodgett Vocational High School and went on to work for Carrier Corporation in Syracuse. Anna had a passion for her hobbies including sewing, crocheting, reading, scrapbooking, and listening to music. She was a member of the Town of Geddes Seniors, a former Eucharistic minister at St. Charles Borromeo Church, and a communicant of the Church of the Holy Family in Fairmount. Anna especially treasured a special group of people she met with on Wednesday and Friday evenings, and the friendships she made with those people whose paths she crossed. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert in 2011, her parents Francis and Harriet Ledger, brothers Chester, Robert, and Donald, and sisters Mary and Theresa. She is survived by her sister Betty Oare of Hastings, and twin sister Ada Koll of Lafayette, sons Paul (Nancy) Hefti of Syracuse, Peter (Melinda) Hefti of Kannapolis NC, and daughters Diane (Robert) Gasparini of Camillus, and Dawn (Bill) Harsma of Syracuse. Anna also had seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088
