Mary Elizabeth (Hess) Gulgusky, 96, formerly of N. Syracuse passed away Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Born in Syracuse, May 7, 1918 to Laura and Andrew Hess. She was a graduate of Vocational High School. She worked many years as a secretary until she had her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Edwin in 2002.
Survivors: daughters, Judith (John) Yoest of Liverpool, Laureen (George) Fassler of Tamarac, FL; grandchildren, Christine and Allison Yoest, and Suzanne (Ken) Heenan; two nieces and a nephew.
Services: 9 a.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
