Obituary of Margaret Jane Tremont

Margaret Jane (Capels) Tremont, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday. Born in Syracuse, she was a lifetime resident. After raising her children she was employed by Kemper Insurance. She was a long time communicant of St. Brigid and St. Joseph's Church where she was also a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was predeceased her beloved husband George J. Tremont with whom she enjoyed gardening and long drives in the country, also her sister Maryalice Wrenn and brother William Capels. Survivors: daughter, Christine G. (Daniel) Warner of Baldwinsville; son, Kevin Tremont of Hartford, CT; grandchildren, Daniel Warner, Jennifer (Jeffrey) McCard, Meghan (Nathaniel) Getman, Matthew (Casey) Warner; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services: 9 a.m. Monday at Tindall Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at St. Brigid-St. Joseph Church, 318 Herkimer St., Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours will be 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 441 W.
