Patricia "Patsy" O'Connor, 76, of Syracuse, formerly of Taunton, passed away on Sunday at her daughter's home in Maine. She was born in St Paul, MN to William L. and Elizabeth G. McGrath. She was a graduate of the Convent School and Katherine Gibbs School in Boston, MA. Patsy worked at Syracuse China for a number of years. In 1970, her husband founded the Charles V. O'Connor Insurance Agency and they worked side by side until his retirement in 1993. She also did bookkeeping for both Most Holy Rosary and St. Lucy's Churches. She was an active member of St. Ann's Church community, proudly serving as the choir director for many years as well as being a member of the Altar Rosary Society and working on many committees and projects for the church.

Patsy is survived by her children, Ann O'Connor of Saratoga Springs, Matthew and his wife, Theresa O'Connor of Syracuse, Mary O'Connor of Liverpool and Nancy O'Connor of Bangor, ME; grandchildren Margaret Carcaterra and Timothy, James and Patrick O'Connor; two sisters, Kathleen (James) Kelly and Nancy McGrath; sisters-in-law, Pam (Bob) Heneghan, Mary Lou (Andrew) Katko, Maureen (Charles) Gridley and Donna (Carmen) Parenti, as well as many nieces and nephews. Patsy was predeceased by her husband, Charles O'Connor, brother, William L McGrath Jr, as well as her parents.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Saturday at St. Ann's Church, 4471 Onondaga Blvd., Syracuse. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 pm, Friday at the Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St. Syracuse, NY 13204.
