Gary A. Bowles

Gary A. Bowles, 79, of Camillus passed away Friday. Born in Syracuse, he was one of 14 children. He was employed by NY Telephone Co. for 25 years as a watch engineer. He was active in horse shows, training of horses, and was a boxer in his younger days. He loved spending a few months every year in Zephyrhills, FL. He was a devoted and loving grandfather. He was predeceased by his daughter, Susan Bowles and several of his brothers and sisters.

Survivors: his wife, Regina; son, Gary A. (Cheryl) Bowles Jr.; daughter, Marianne (Christopher) Andrianos; stepdaughters, Kathleen (Michael Sr.) Kicak, Diane Michalowski; brother, Richard (Emily) Bowles; sisters, Doris Hennessey, Georgiann Polsen, Nancy (Jim) McConnell; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Belle Isle Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home 1921 W. Genesee St.
